Is MERN stack development still a good option for building a career in the software world as a fresher?

I have been learning MERN stack development for 2 years now. But I'm still struggling to get a good paying job. Companies especially startups, paying too low as if we are laborers for them. So in the long run is it worth it to sacrifice the whole life of learning this technology. Will it be fruitful in the long run as I have started from too low salary.
