Trending @Capgemini; Is Masters Worth ?
I have been from 2 yrs with CG now , I am really not interested to pursue masters , But some of my relatives and my parents keep me pushing to complete master's, They say it will be more valuable in job market. But my thinking is totally different, I want to focus on upgrading skill with my job and thorugh learning independently. I don't feel like studying more. What are your points on this ? Is it worth to pursue masters? Being already a B.tech CSE degree holder ?

I think the answer is relative. I had same thinking as yours in the beginning of my career. But after almost a decade of work exp. I feel it would be good If I would have completed masters. Not for professional reasons may be but its always good to have higher education for various reasons. Also you can identify your fav. topic n try to pursue education in same stream that will definitely help. Now a days there are lot of specialised streams available for grad n post grad students.
Rest is of course your decision but this is my suggestion.

Thanks Mate , I am thinking of pursuing M.Tech from BITS Pilani , It's a WILP program, Is that okay ? If you have any idea ? It's basically designed for working professionals with specialized learning. With thar I won't need to resign from CG even and can pursue it with the job.

Its like distance education right?? Its a good option. My sister did it similar setup.. she was in TechM before , now in Barclays ! Definitely a plus. Go for it.

Masters from where?? India only if you want to go to academics, US if you want a job there, upgrade skills and get a salary increase

Thinking from india , Because foreign countries now made it difficult for Indians, also it will be much of spend on study if I go to abroad. I am thinking for abroad based on job bases.

Go for Germany, education is free and they have made immigrant friendly policy, you can get a part time and offset lot of the costs

Continue with upskilling AI, ML, data science. No need of masters

In India master doesn’t help you anymore to get extra salary which graduates are getting. It’s a private sector here only skills and your work will help you to get expected salary. Instead of that upgrade your skill and enjoy working.
