Noo, if you want testing domain then go for atleast automation tester otherwise ask for development project

Take it and start exploring other tech stacks on your own. also don't depend on TCS for career growth. It's good that you are getting a chance to start. market conditions are not good. just grab the opportunity and move on
Manual testing can be a starting point, but it's not the best long-term choice if you aim for career growth. If RMG offers it, take it only if you have no better options. Meanwhile, upskill in automation testing, development, or other in-demand areas to open better opportunities.
It worked for me as they offered a manual tester role while i was on bench for almost 6 months but with a promise to move me into development.
Not directly but yeah I got moved to development.
