Is leaving Bangalore equal to career suicide for designers?
i work at a top startup in Bangalore , known for its design team and culture. I want to move to mumbai as it is close to home for personal reasons,
is leaving Bangalore now would make me look like a less favorable candidate for companies in blr if i choose to apply for design jobs in future?
What kind of reasoning is that?
Why would a company in blr not hire you later on because you left blr?
On another note, depends what designer you are - if it's graphic, mumbai is a solid place over BLR to be.
Also, blr like many will keep saying, is really not the future anymore.

But, to add further detail - leaving Bangalore isn't going to make you "less favourable".
Not being in Bangalore while looking for a job may, just may be off putting for interviewers when they want to speak to you. But you usually receive a call first, and then assignments and all that before they want to meet you face to face, so it's not worth stressing about.
I mean designers have vivid careers in mumbai more to be honest also why won’t bangalore take you back? Go out take better offers and explore both places they re both lovely!
