Is JEE the biggest shared trauma we have as average middle class Indians?
Irrespective of the result, did this exam fundamentally change things in you or your life? Do tell.
I gave my jee during Covid when mains was held 4 times and advanced was postponed multiple times. Although boards were thankfully cancelled, taking jee so many times throughout the year was exhausting, and depressing esp if the results were bad. My jee advanced sucked and not getting iit was depressing but now looking back at it i realise i didn't miss much and got a dream job/company so it's not traumatic. I did my coaching and stuff from my home state with normal school not dummy, but ppl who changed to dummy schools/went to Kota etc and not getting iit I am sure they'd have experienced more trauma and I hope they are doing better now.

Yes, jee and 12 th class is trauma for me. After joining jail kind colleges in Telangana ( you know that college I am talking). I lost interest in life. lost learning ability and positive nature. Still i stuck.. got mental and health issues too.
Still i regret it. May in this life I can't forgot may be.
Problem is not getting into nits or iits. They killed my interest keep in jail kind classes and taught confusion, fear , failure and being judged by other based on weekly mock test conducted for jee.
Made doubt myself and still what ever I work. It haunts me.
