3moTrending @Cognizant; Is it true that after promotion, the default rating (3) is given to associates?
In a recent meeting I got to know that people who got promoted will get a default rating (3). Is this true? No matter how hard they work, will they get only 3 rating? What if they deserve a higher rating ?
Anyone in senior roles with reportees do comment your thoughts below.

It’s not true that promoted employees automatically get a 3 rating. I’ve seen people getting a 5 rating even after a recent promotion. Some HMs use it to save company money, but a good HM can still give a 5 rating. There’s no default rating.

I don’t have a good HM. For sure they’ll use this stupid excuse.
