Is it still worth it to stay here?
I have always been a patriot. Even though I grew up outside, I felt a strong feeling of love towards my country. I even came back to do Engineering here from one of the top institutions. When my batchmates were prepping for masters and PhDs from foreign countries, I couldn't relate much with them. I was done. I felt that I wanted to grow my career and settle down in my country.
However, 1 yr of employment has started making me question the state of affairs here. I have not completely given up hope, but the way this country is headed to, I don't know if I want to live here any longer. I can list down dozen reasons why I can leave, but there are some imp. ones holding me back like being an only child, and I don't want to be thousands of miles away from my parents in case there is an emergency. Just wanted an honest take from other folks, or maybe just some positive reasons to stay back here. Healthcare for one is a big positive, I see.

Waiting is like quicksand, the more you wait the more you will be drowning in upcoming responsibilities. Take decisive step and go ahead, things will only get worse here.
Parents,Relatives are the only reason that can be to stay here. Other reasons - relatively easy life, easy cost of living. Ahh what else.. it's still a growing country... You can scam people and not get caught..

Still a developing country, so you can be a little bit more crimey. Laws not developed enough to stop them, enforcement is not that hyper active.
Only reason to not stay here can be - Majority of people are stupid, not have basic respect, ethics. Most imp - low quality government. Sucks up too much money, ppl high on their heads with no capabilities filled inside.
