Is it still worth exploring moving abroad?
Is it still worth moving abroad (Specifically US)? With the racism, higher cost of living, absence of affordable maids, gun violence etc. - I've always thought; heck no.

US is not a great option today, you may look out for other countries. You really can't "move" to US if you're an Indian.
What other countries would you suggest?
I have never gone onsite but I kind of don't prefer US these days (despite it having better parameters in many aspects as compared to India) primarily because of these gun violence, safety concerns and recent illegal crackdown on immigrants.
I would prefer UK or Nordic countries (like - Sweden, Denmark). Canada may also be a better option but may not have as much opportunities as the US.

US is possibly the greatest country on earth for people who want to build something! Only thing that sucks is visa process
