Is it really that difficult to get a job switch in IT after 15 yrs of exp, I am trying for the past 6 months but still no success 😕

What kind of roles are you applying to?

At 15 years experience, you should be targeting Technical Leadership roles, like Architect, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Engineering Manager, Technical Program Manager (TPM) etc.

You will be more favorably considered for those, compared to low-level software development roles.
