Is it possible to shift from IT consulting company to MBB?

I have always been wanting a career in management consulting or strategy consulting companies like McKinsey BCG Bain & Company.

Being in IT consulting for over 3 years I wonder if it’s still possible for me to transition to management or strategy consulting companies?

Any help or insight on this is appreciated.
