Is it possible (or even smart) to start a smart business while working a full-time corporate job?
I’ve been toying with an idea that I’m super passionate about, but I’m also mindful of time, energy, and of course… the fine print in employment contracts.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s done it, tried it, or even thought about it — What worked? What didn’t? Any regrets?
Is it ambitious… or asking for burnout?
Spill the tea!

Imo, burnouts are real. If you are flexible enough, get some angel investing for a year worth’s of runway of only you working on it. That will sort you for a year, if it works out good, if not you can return to corporate. Cheers and best of luck!

Not for the faint hearted. Can take a lot out of you. Best done with a partner who can also contribute.
But if you succeed, you get two income sources. Once your biz lets you earn as much as your job, you can consider quitting jobs.
