Is It on Top? It Won’t Last Forever

Think about these examples: Google Search, Bangalore, IT employees, Bangalore homeowners, Apple, Mobile Phones.

In the past, we couldn’t imagine life without certain things. But they disappeared. Remember Nokia, Kodak cameras, Blockbuster CDs, landline phones, and FM radio? They were once everywhere, but now they’re gone.

Innovation wipes out whatever is at the top. Touchscreen phones replaced Nokia. Digital cameras ended Kodak. Netflix took over from CDs. Wireless tech got rid of landlines.

The same thing is happening now. AI could replace Google Search. If Apple doesn’t innovate fast, some virtual reality company might overtake it. IT jobs might vanish, and crazy salaries could disappear. That could leave landlords in Bangalore with empty apartments. The city might struggle as AI automates basic jobs.

Being optimistic will help, but we should think of alternatives very soon. The world’s Nazar is on IT people who are earning crores in CTC and living great lives 🧿
