Is it okay to inflate your credentials on your resume?

Bhai jab Tak aap defend kar paao till then everything is OK . Lawyer to court me crime bhi defend kar leta hai. Yahan to sirf credentials inflate karne ki baat ho rahi hai

What's wrong with that?
When the job description has non-mentioned tasks and inflated salary quotes. And fake WLB promises.
Why can't you mention inflated credentials? (unless it has any sort of legal complications - law, medicine, and other M&L areas).

Whole world is suffering from inflation. Why should a resume be left out?

No. For the love of god please stick to the truth

But question is how we can inflate thr credentials in resume?

Take credit for others' work. Example 5 people have worked on a task to increase product signups. Now for your next role, you can quote "increased product signups by 30%" (just an example).

Another example can be quoting a few well-known (skill upgradation) courses. And on asking you can say it is currently ongoing.

Always remember --> Pheko toh lambi pheko

Wah

A little bit of inflation is fine. Yet, what does little mean?
Suppose you've worked on a portion of project AND are privy to nuances of how it was carried out (or carried out so far, if it's ongoing) - including challenges encountered and what solutions were designed. Then, a little bit that's fine is saying you worked on a bigger share. Not okay is saying you're the owner.
Again, I understand sometimes the title may be severely lacking compared to roles and responsibilities. In that case, be upfront about it. Even if that involves claiming you are moving because you are not getting deserved recognition
