If it's a one time thing with a fixed end, it's probably alright. As long as you keep in mind that your full-time comes first, without letting your other stuff hamper productivity

Not unless you or someone you tell, tells them. Only other way is through a random BGV, but it depends on what your relationship with this other company is.
