Is it OK to switch multiple projects in an year?
I am back to work from maternity leave in Feb 24. I am a good. Net developer with basic cloud knowledge.
Post ML I received a call from project A. They asked to learn Azure in 10 days and attend client interview. Gave 1 month allocation till March 24. The role needs strong Azure knowledge so I couldn't clear the interview.
In Mar project B gave me 2 months allocation and asked to learn and complete Azure certification. Client rejected me stating they need only people who have real time experience in Azure.
Project B asked me to wait to see if there is any internal work for few days. They couldn't get any relevant work for me. So released on Oct 1st
Project C hired me know. Client interview got cleared. But there is immense work pressure. Being a mother of a new born. I am not even getting time to feed my kid. I have another kid aged 6 yrs. He is feeling ignored and not focusing on studies. My husband works is working in US shift and going to office since many years. So I can't expect much help from him.
I told my lead I need a release if the work pressure continues. She agreed and told me to rethink and confirm.
My biggest worry is what will happen if I switch to other project? I know there is no guarantee that I get a good one. But will someone come and ask why did you switch projects in such short term? Does it impact my performance or appraisal? Is someone tracking the history?
This is killing me day and night. I can work with average work load. I am not saying I want a project without work. Just that my current project is really hectic compared to others.
