Is it normal for recruiter to ask for payslip, previous offer letter etc. Before sharing the offer letter?

I got through the interview process for a few companies for the lead PM role and what I am seeing is that they are asking for previous offer letter/appraisal letter, pay slip for 3months, other documents.

Is it normal for companies to ask for these documents before sharing offer letter...
