Is it necessary to complete 3 years to get release from project??

I've completed 2 years 2 months so far in a project and im asking for release since past 7 months for relocation to TCS gurgaon. all they says we will look into this, I've loop my HR as well still no luck.. should I escalate to head HR or that too will not make any difference . What wlse I can do to get sooner release? or should I resign??

Irrespective of the TCS policy getting released from project is totally in hands of ur manager and no else and if project have dependency on u or u are doing work as per expectation then it's more difficult to get release...so 2 options u have either u start delaying the work ...note don't say no to any work just start delaying work, take random leaves in between...second start preparing for outside interviews and switch...this will give u cover from 1st approach as u will get bad rating and band...

They will not give you release thats for sure. Only u can do is frustrate them by taking leaves, delaying work, acting as dumb. But note that it will impact your band. Good luck

Utter bullsh*t!! Even if there is any such policy everyone knows its 18 months. You are eligible to get release. Do an email explaining to them that your learning has reached a saturation point and you would like to move for some other exciting opportunity available. Mark that email to your supervisor and delivery manager. Do talk to both of them separately as well.. it might help
