Is it ! good thing to starting a new career path After 8years of bullshit experience?
I'm a mechanical engineer working at TCS since 8 years. Mechanical people are always the underpaid In the IT! Experience To CTC ratio is usually 1.5-2x and Never more than that. Being 8 YOE, have a CTC of 12LPA only.. Feeling that it's too less when compared to my other IT friends in other domains.. I know I shouldn't compare and I know I am looking at money but yes at the end of 8+ years, money matters..
If at all I continue to stick to the same mechanical domain, i would never reach 30+ Ctc's ever. And also since I am a hardware guy , I have never learnt /enthusiastic towards coding, etc.
So I want more ctc but without doing coding..
Can anyone let me know if there are any such domain/paths which can be chosen and if its a right thing to chose it and start a new career path!
Thanks in advance..

Wrong assumption.. If CSE dept in same company for 8 years he ll also get the same..
