Is it fine if do part time job while working in different company as full-time employee?

Is it fine if do part time job while working as parmenent position in other company? What are the chances of getting caught?

I got selected in one contractual position and recruiter is asking for adhar card. Said pan details is not required, Only adhar is required for identification and background check. And salary would be credited to wife's account. Plz suggest if I should take the risk
