Trending @Accenture; Is it common for managers to call on mobile directly!
My manager calls on mobile daily for updates. I initially thought there might be some emergency. But no, he has a habit of doing it. How should I tell him not to call? Is it okay to say on face directly?
Instead of ignoring. Clearly communicate your preferred mode of communication is IM or email. But you can accept calls or sms on mobile in case it’s an emergency. But not always or otherwise. Please ask him for his feedback on what does he thinks about it. This way you can show some maturity and teach him some too.
His/her manager must be from India. Indian managers ko aisa bol diya to unka EGO hurt ho jata hai
Just don't receive calls over mobile after logging off and before logging off provide the update on mail or teams by pinging your manager
Not common.. Inform him, don't comm after business hours..
Dont accept the calls, she will stop calling you
