Is it bad to use react.js for a landing page?
I came across the linkdIn post for the site http://huly.io and saw this comment.
Why did he say it's not good to use react.js ? Also what is the better alternative

It's very heavy for a landing page use case. It's like using a massive truck to just pick up milk and eggs from local grocery store.
For a simple landing page, there's no advantage in using a big library/framework.
