Is it a good time to switch?

Hey there viners,

This post is regarding advice for the job switch now. What are the market conditions? If we switch now, will there be fair opportunities? Can we negotiate well? Or should I wait another 6 months for the market to be stable?

I am a software engineer with around 1.5 years of experience. My tech stack majorly includes Spring Boot and React.

Thank you in advance.

Well people who planned their 2 year stints might choose to move on. Less positions likely but mostly replacement positions should open up in the next couple of months. Companies who have finalised their growth plans for next year would ideally start hiring as well.

Do you think companies like MAANG will be hiring?

Unlikely. Talked to my friends and they said unless people leave and hell doesn’t break loose, hiring is unlikely

It’s a good time to start, should be able to grab one in 2-3 months
