Is It a good time to switch ?

Hi folks , for sometime now , I have not been very happy with my current role. I was planning to start looking for opportunities this year but seeing the layoff trends , I am skeptical, my company currently is stable and no risks of layoff as such, just that there is not much learning and growth. Please suggest if this is a good time to look out for new opportunities or stay put.

Market conditions are bad. If you have a stable job, stick to it and only switch if you get a great opportunity. And look for opportunities without quitting your current role.

Completely depends on the sector you are in. Speaking from recent experience. Business side roles in stable firms usually open post March. Not so sure about startup’s
