Is it a good time to invest in silver and gold ETFs?

I am M(23). I have some amount in my hand now. Can I buy Gold and silver etf today(14 oct)? Or should I wait for some time? I am new to MFs and stocks. Kindly help me my friends. Thank you so much!

Also kindly give me a few important tips in Investments. I am also planning to start SIP. What are all the things i should consider before investing in SIP or what are some good MFs to start my SIP. Thank you!
