Is hiring market really frozen or thats a over hype?

I have multiple insights that hiring market is frozen, Noone is hiring, but i see job postings all along, is it a myth companies have created to trap user into productivity pressure or it it true.

Definitely I am expecting anything just post covid. But is it worst than Pre covid also?
