In my team 5 people have spouses from same company only. Its not un-nice to ask someone for a coffee if you like them. Just read their body language and never make them uncomfortable.

2. Find common interests
3. If they are directly linked with your project, and if luck is by your side KT sessions can be used as a leverage.
4. Chai pe charcha
5. Do small good gestures.
6. Ask if you can drop them after office.
7. Ask directly to have evening coffee after work.
