My mother and relatives forced me to register in matrimony sites last week. I'm thinking of reconsidering this decision. Arranged marriages are becoming scarier than conjuring movie
Arrange marriages in the past used to happen through some relatives. Ao there was some element of trust. Now a days its totally between strangers. Matrimonial apps changed a better working system to unreliable one.
Last week there was a case in the supreme court where the husband got reprieve. He was a Brahmin and his wife was SC. He got all the cases, 498a, Dv, sct/St act....
Arranged marriage is not the problem here.
There are road accidents happening, should we avoid road travel? Accidents happen. We have to think beyond it.
We need to follow what our ancestors did. Those rules were devised out of experience. And it gave safety to all. We broke those rules and followed sitcoms nonsense. And now facing the heat.

Not only in India, nowhere it is safe if you don’t find a good partner and that is pure luck. Do you want to bet on your luck?
Risk is there and you can never be 100% sure but maybe you can improve the chances of success by some consideration. There is a saying in my area, judge your future mom in law to judge your future wife. People from small towns and villages still hold indian values, don't rush behind modern people.
