Trending @Infosys; Is external scrum master certification reimbursable?
I am working as a scrum master in this new project. I was thinking to pursue external scrum master certification. Is it reimbursable and worth it? IHD ticket closed by saying to contact manager. Managers say they are not sure and to contact HR. HR says to contact manager. 😒 I am in DNA unit.
I’m not sure where to take my career from here even after I switch. I have 11 years of experience. If I think of going into management side, do I need to do some certifications? Any suggestions?
Don’t worry !! You don’t need certification to be a SM. Infosys knows it. So won’t reimburse it. Infy generally reimburses certifications only of client mandates it. But i guess for newer tech they have lot of tie ups with Amazon, google and Microsoft to use certain vouchers.
External certifictaion or based on budget aproval. You have to get the approval from DM , then apply for certifications. Btw..scrum certification will not be approved . Now they focused more on tech certifications.
