I am interested to learn e-masters from IIT kanpur in machine learning and data science is worth to spend it? As its almost 8 lakh worth of course , currently i am data analyst with 3 years of experience, is it going to help me to convert into data scientist in future and get high package,

Let's understand that the pedagogy is not any different in Premier institutes vs normal colleges, there's just 1 distinction that matter -
The students. The crowd that comes in, going there meeting and talking and involving yourself with this community is the best thing that happens in these colleges.
Because of them is why great companies come in, not because the teaching is excellent etc
You should check for course components and see if the skills it will help develop are valued or not in your industry, role profile.
You can do course A, B, C. However if they are not valued, they will help in building your knowledge or your tool set but may not necessarily bring you promotion or higher package.
