Is doing post-graduation abroad worth it?

Hey folks, having a lot of FOMO these days as most of my friends and college mutuals have moved abroad for higher studies. I have a pretty good job here in India and it's only been a little over a year since I joined (right out of college).

Does moving abroad make sense in terms of:

  1. Better pay
  2. Better work experience and exposure
  3. Better quality of life

I just don't want to regret not moving abroad later. For me it would be worth it if I get an improved quality of life, decent money (above avg. wages in that country) and good work experience.

If you can, move out!
Depends on your priorities
Not worth it

Depends on country and college. If it’s USA and good tier 1 college then definitely yes.

I have two major concerns with the US: a) it'd be pretty expensive b) I really don't want to end up in a scenario where I don't get a working visa (sponsorship) and have to come back right after the degree.

Like I said, depends on the college. If you get admitted into non-Ivy league then do your masters in isb, nus and insead. But if it’s Ivy League. You will get something or the other. You will also be in the top 1% network of the world and your alumni will always help you out.
