Yeah, D band is possible even with 9 years experience. It's more about performance than years worked, sadly.
It doesn't matter how you perform in TCS , if you don't have a good repo with your manager or reviewer you will surely get a D band.
Remember its not just about you .. it's how many A,B,C,D allocated to your project in your grades and then who preceded you . If you are the last of every one then D for c3A n above . Till ITA they can give C as last unless we really messed up within team
D is possible for anyone in TCS. If your performance is very low , D band can be considered.
Being a senior employee, the manager may think of avoiding negative hikes, but it all depends upon him if your performance is too low
