I was thinking of using a cycle in Bangalore. I usually use a motorcycle for traveling so riding a bicycle is not scary in Bangalore.
Too much dust on bangalore Roads and when during cycling when we get sweet all that dust sticks on the face 😭

depends on the are you live. cycling during peak hours is very risky. from auto & bikes to cars and trucks everybody hates cyclist. sometimes they deliberately push us aside. But if one can travel thru bylanes to reach our destination, its great to cycle. But one needs to be carefull as its very accident prone in the bylanes. I feel less than 6km is good distance, beyond that it is not peaceful.
I used to commute 3-4km on cycle for work. Wouldn’t recommend commuting longer distances because of traffic and dust/sweat.
As an exercise it is amazing in Bangalore but only early mornings (you should be done 8/9am). I used to go to Airport Road almost everyday when I bought a road cycle.
Preferred for Short on weekdays in city
Take out for highways on weekends.
