Is Canada a good place to move for masters anymore.

Given the current geo-political environment and Indo-Canadian relations..is doing a master's in Comp Sci a good option anymore.

Just my observation. US-Can days are gone. Few on my circle went there already. And I don’t have any first hand experience (just observation) from what I’m seeing online, and few close connections, people are preffering APAC for their masters then West now.

Edu. is worth it no doubt, but the end goal most folks have i.e. do the job, print the money and comeback or settle there. That is gone from equation. There are graduates from Tier-1, from last year, who still are waiting for any opportunities to work. Now students from this year will pile up again…and this number is huge, coz ofcourse the no. of Indian students!

Again it’s just an observation, don’t know whats ahead in next two years, by the time your masters is completed.

Can’t agree more, it’s all messed up out there. Definitely not a good time to go especially with chances of Trump coming back and Trudeau running out of time to come back to power in Canada.
