Is CA asking your IT password common for filing ITR?

I Feel they file it from your account, so if shit goes south they don’t get the blame.

I think you can add an CA in the portal and I guess during filing it can be mentioned who filed it ( self vs CA )

He's either misguided by someone or deliberately spreading fake news. There is no option of filing ITR through CA login.
Add CA option is available for tax audit report not for ITR.

Without your credentials even God has not the capacity to file it.
