Is C# and .Net worth learning?

Hi, I'll be joining Microsoft next month. I wanted to know if it is worth learning .Net and C# as it is widely used across Microsoft.

I have been a frontend developer throughout my career and want to learn backend as well to become a full stack engineer. Will it be useful to learn C# outside of Microsoft? Is it used in other big tech companies?
