Is Business Analyst a good role?
I am working as a BA in TCS, I come from insurance background and worked in audit and compliance departments. To be honest I really don't like this BA role here. Although I feel this is boring, my friends say this is a high paying job and it will have pretty much demand in future. What should I do? Should I change this or should I stick to it as it has a good pay ? Please advise.
If it feels boring now, no paycheck will fix that long-term; alignment matters more than hype. With your audit and compliance roots, roles in risk, Product Ops, or FinTech strategy might excite you more. Talk to folks who’ve transitioned out of BA roles via Hiked.in, they’ll help you see what’s possible beyond the title. One right mentor can help you turn confusion into clarity; don’t wait it out, figure it out.

It's a good role in a later stage of corporate life you will have to face client only
