Is Bengaluru a bad choice to live in for non-tech people?

Prices in Bengaluru are quite unsustainable for non-tech folks. All thanks to inflation bought into by tech folks who can afford higher prices. Techies earn almost twice as much as an equivalent non-techie with the same level of experience in their respective fields. So when techies spend that much money in the market the prices are obviously inflating and making it unsustainable for non-techs.

Bangalore is bad to live in generally, doesn't matter if tech or non tech job.

Inflation happens across categories. Average cost of living is generally higher compared to tier 2/3 cities and transport situation is horrible.

I don't see what other reason could be driving the inflation in this city other than tech money.

You're looking at water as a river that flows into the sea, and are missing the entire water cycle.

Tech money may cause localised inflation, but that is only in certain pockets like real estate. Other demand is on transportation prices, like surge pricing.

But tech money also causes elevated spending. More spends on goods, services, and luxuries. They don't spend it back on "tech". These non-tech spends go to non-tech people.

If you are considering non-tech to be urban company service representatives then maybe yes. But that is not the point of reference here.
