Trending @Infosys; Is being selected as associate consultant , still allows me to be part of security testing projects as tester?

I am a security tester in IQE , if I go for associate consultant role, can still continue to fo security testing? Or am I gonna be assigned to new set of job role completely?? I am little confused here. Cause I don’t want to leave my field also need a little salary hike.

Yes
Acon u will get assigned to different stream and need to complete certifications but thing is lets say u dont get project and come on bench again they can take you to security testing projects
