Is Automation testing with selenium/java is good career?

Hi Guys- i have 3.3 yrs of experience and Need to understand the scope of automation testing now and in future, since I can do little coding stuff does it makes sense switch to dev, if that is the case then which technology I can choose.

Suggestion are highly appreciated.

Like other roles, the testing role and it's responsibilities have evolved with time, but that role is not going anywhere IMO for the next 5-10 years at least.

If you are more inclined towards being a dev then you can give that a try for sure.
