Is anyone still using CRED?
The vouchers are mostly ones for gambling/ or standard discounts given on company sites and not CRED exclusive Their 'store' items are cheaper on Flipkart/ Amazon The 'exotic perfumes' are generic stuff from Man Company. Their vacation offers are fails/ not exclusive Forget about ever winning anything substantial on their slot machines.
Honestly, for the amount they mine your data and sell to brokers, are you even getting something out of it?
I just use them to get my CC bill in 1 place, but I realise others do it better while being less invasive!
Just considering deleting it outright now.
What makes you think that they mine your data and sell to someone? Do you have personal observations on this or is this based on some random posts you saw online?
Sorry, no evidence on whether they sell the data to brokers (I wouldn't be too surprised if so), but I guess I meant to say you're mined for advertising data. But here it can get a lot more invasive as they dig into financials.
Example - I specifically have not shared my PAN details, nor my email details, however I was initially forced to give them SMS access (for verification, balls), after which I removed it, but they somehow still are able to get my credit card dues et all, my car insurance details etc.
I switched off notification from them as they used to blast me with loan offers, pay day loan sorts.
