i was there in the office for the entire 9+ hours and for the same day my attendance wasn't marked.

Same thing happened to me, it might just take some time to reflect. Usually, it updates within 24–48 hours. I’d recommend raising a request in Service Central, they should be able to assist you.

It usually gets updated the next day. Ask your colleagues if their attendance was marked for that day or not

It was the 3rd aug actually, as for my colleagues there attendance is reflecting
