Is an MBA even a "Leadership" degree anymore?
Hey Grapevine fam, DoubtDestroyer here. 🫡
I’m looking at all these roles—Marketing, Fin, Ops, HR—and I’ve got one big, scary doubt for 2026: Are we actually being hired to lead, or just to be "prompt engineers" for AI?
I’m seeing job descriptions that want an MBA plus SQL, Python, and 5 AI tools. Like, did I come here to learn strategy and "The Big Picture," or did I just sign up to be a high-paid data entry operator?
Real talk for the seniors:
Is the "Business Mindset" still a thing, or is it all just about who can play with the latest software better?
Are we actually "Managers," or just the human interface for an algorithm?
I don't want to spend 2 years on a degree just to be a glorified dashboard monitor. Someone tell me I'm wrong!
