I have seen in several videos and blogs including MKDHB talks that AI is a product or feature. What's your thought on this?

The classification of AI as a product, feature, or technology depends on its application and context:

1. Technology: At its core, AI is a technology—a set of methods and tools that enable machines to simulate human intelligence. This includes machine learning algorithms, natural language processing, computer vision, and other techniques. 2. Feature: AI can be a feature when it’s embedded within a product to enhance its functionality. For example, AI-driven recommendations on a streaming platform or voice assistants in smartphones are features that leverage AI to improve the user experience. 3. Product: In some cases, AI itself can be a product. AI-driven tools like autonomous vehicles, AI-powered customer service platforms, or specialized AI software for tasks like image recognition or predictive analytics are examples where AI is the core offering.

Depends on customer perception and JTBD - Jobs to be done.

Any technology is just a means.
I use ChatGPT to proofread my resume.
ChatGPT is just a means. Even resume is just a means. Even job is just a means. And money is just a means.

It's up to you how you want to position your AI technology in front of customers. Maybe "AI Blog generator" is a product or maybe "Generate blogs via AI" is a feature.

Similarly, a tyre is a product by a tyre company but a soft compound rubber tyre is a feature in an SUV car.
