Is Adibatla a punishment?
5 day WFO for Adibatla..is it fair? Why none care..is changing job only solution?on average everyone here travel 4hr per day and pay transport cost
Nowadays I feel being a Tcser in itself is punishment to myself, my career and family. Same problem we also facing in Mumbai. Have to travel 2 hrs than sit in campus without seat for 30 mins to 1 hr than go back. It's just useless coming to office, totally waste of time.
Yes even mine is adibatla but not going there as of now

I myself am facing a similar issue. I have tailbone inflammation and sitting for 4 hours travel is more than torture. To be honest, any office within hyderabad is a punishment as there are lack of seats.
So, what about your next steps?
Now that.. depends on what matters to you the most. If you really think the project you are in right now is absolutely worth your career growth, move temporarily near adibhatla (the rentals are quite low too).
If you think all of this isnt just worth it, look for another project or resign.
Management doesnt seem to compromise any sooner. Hence its on you to decide (certainly not easy as it sounds), it took me 3months to decide what to do.
A 2-3 hour commute everyday is quite average for all the major cities(Bangalore, Mumbai etc) and i don't think they ever paid any heed to this.
Locality is fine. But travelling takes long time and is bad if u hate travelling.
Adibatla is the worst location ever , try changing the location
