Trending @Accenture; Is Accenture really losing its reputation?

I have heard from many people outside Accenture that the work environment in Accenture is toxic and too much work is expected out of one.

Even I have been part of a ready bad project worked multiple weekends sometimes back to back, very bad management, egoist people etc.

But is this how most projects in Accenture are?

Other companies line TCS infosys also has this kind of work culture, this is what I got to know from my friends. But why is Accenture being portrayed as really bad ?

I also have left Accenture early this month in just 15 months of work experience in Accenture. I felt like the management is always trying to identify some reason for not giving promotions and hikes. Also, given some unrealistic priorities to make you stand without completing it so they can say that reason for not giving hike or promotion even though you created a value to the client

Ask grok AI about your state's shop & Establishment acts. In some states they can't make you work more than 8.5hrs. Your offer letter may say 9 hours, so that like 30 mins lunch. There's also compulsory lunch after 3-4 hrs working.

The rumors are not right. In the long term, working in 10 years. It has been great working at Accenture. In the past 2 years, things has been haywire regarding hikes and promotions and projects getting affected. All companies have this affect and are getting layoffs and hike issue.
Accenture is getting bad reputation just because of these 2 years. But thats the case for all companies now a days.

Accenture is my 5th organisation. Most organisations have a toxic culture to a certain extent but Accenture crossed most of the boundaries and I can say Accenture is BAAP of a toxic environment. Apart from a decent salary here, no other reason to stay. You name something here, I can say what's wrong in that at Accenture. Bad management, bad HR recruitment policies and worst are people who are there at Accenture from 10+ years and they think "THIS IS HOW WORLD IS and WE ARE CORRECT". These 10+ gang up everywhere.

Correct.. 10+ are creating mess here.. they do partiality in every respect.. I am experiencing the same and due to this I have to resign

Worst work place! Office politics, favouritism, bullying juniors, Unrealistic deadlines... You name it, Accenture has it. When it's time for a hike or promotion, they will tell you that, Accenture is not doing very good business this year, and some other bullshit about your performance although you have compromised your mental and physical health along with your family time to meet their unrealistic deadline. But somehow they are giving a 100 - 110% hike to the new hires. I just want to remind you that, - we, the existing employees have worked our ass off to earn you that insane amount of money that you are offering to the new hires, how can you forget us!!!... People are put to projects they didn't wish for and then if you ask for a roll off they will give you threats to put in PIP or ask you to resign! People have been sitting there for more than 10 - 15 years in management. They think they are untouchable, above the law, they think they own the place it's their property they can do whatever they want and you have to obey them like an obedient slave!... At the end I would say, it's the bad people who make a bad atmosphere. Change the toxic atmosphere, bring new blood, new people at the top and you will get better results in terms of output I can assure you.

In Accenture Client is God, management doesn't dare to question clients, and if by chance any one shows spine, he will be kicked out of the project.

Now it depends on client to client, some clients are good, some are very bad.
