Trending @Cognizant; Is Accenture better than Cognizant for stability
I am an Associate at Cognizant since last 1 year 11 months. I was working with Accenture before than and have an overall experience close to 6 years. I joined CTS as a java developer but recently my BU got changed to QEA.
I again got an offer from Accenture for Java Development Lead role but the hike is not much. It’s X+4 fixed and around 5 lakhs variable pay. I’ll be having an increment at CTS in next months about 1-1.5 lakhs and will also be eligible for SA promotions. Which will almost equalise the fixed ACN is providing. The addition benefit in ACN offer is variable part and career alignment.
I need your opinion on this.

Do not think that CTS is going to give you a SA promotion at this moment, there is no promotion lined up for you for the next 2 years.

Please don't even think of staying in CTS 🙄

Thank you. Have resigned already

Eligible for SA doesn’t matter here. For my team mate he was eligible for SA on Jan 2023 but role changed by Dec 2023. I am eligible for M on June 2023 still they said it’s in queue. So word eligible is just to convince us but when it changes god only know

Understood. Have communicated to manager, quitting
