Getting 12.5 LPA is fine?
I am working in HPE and currently getting 12.5 lpa fixed. I have 4 years of experience.
Is it the right track or financially I can do better?
I currently work as lead/manager and getting paid 65LPA as fixed component no variable nothing. Additional benefits like wellness, PF are not part of CTC. Is this a good amount. I have been seeing posts where people claiming 80/90-1cr and what not with half of my experience
Bro it is good but you can get better as you’ve noticed. Idk how smooth it is to switch at your yoe and would u rather value stability or TC optimization. Curious to know your thoughts and maybe you’ve switched less than others in good times so u have less edge 🤷🏻♂️
Started my career with one the four known large service companies. Post that mostly worked in start-ups have change 4 companies, working at 5th currently.
Ya bro I would say stay till good times come again or at least normal times. It will be too hard for u to get a position at that yoe in a stable company I imagine
Truth hai. With half your exp I am earning your salary.
Itna toh truth hai sir. And am slightly above average that's all- maybe just at 75th-80th percentile.
What you have heard is easily true, So you can't escape that... I felt this way when I was I think 2-3 yoe. I just got courage and asked the 100% hike back then it was as unthinkable as asking for 100% from 60lpa...
So with your experience next time you try right, maybe just ask 1cr+ and sometimes you should not budge down... You will lose some opportunities but you will get your worth.... My view that's all
Meine not even 75th. Probably 60th percentile at best
Do you need more money or do you want more money?
How is 65 lakhs NOT good dude
You asking at the wrong platform. In any open platform you go to, you ll always find people in the mid range of spectrum. Directly talk to people who are makings Crs they ll help you decide.
I am shaking my head that I have to teach this to you.
Or you are here just for fun 🤪🤪🤪🤪( I don't like you)
good salary....
Thank you all for the responses. 🕊️✌️

There’s this chap on GV who posted that they haven’t received any calls for the past 3 months. Has 2.5 years experience with a current ctc around 15L. We spoke to them only to realise their expectations are 32L (26 fixed and 6 in esops) ...
26 fixed seems pretty reasonable, I don’t know how much lower you can expect
What’s the realistic timeline to achieve 50-75 LPA in Bangalore?
Currently on 28 LPA.
If followed career progression of my seniors, it will take at least 7 more years in the same company to hit ~75LPA.
