Is 45L + 10% Variable Fair for 6YOE? cctc-26
Hi everyone,
I'm currently at 6 years of experience and recently received an offer with a base of 45L and an additional 10% variable. I don't have any holding offers right now, so I'm reaching out for some input from fellow professionals.
Based on your experiences, does this package seem fair for someone at my level? Would love to hear your thoughts, any negotiation tips, or similar offers you've seen in the market.
Thanks in advance for your insights!

Take it and keep trying for better in the notice period(if you haven't put down your papers). It is pretty decent as per current market and your hike% is actually 100% currently so getting above that from other company would be tough too. Take this and use this as competing offer to other future ones. Anyway, i would have taken it for sure if i was sitting at 26.

+1
Maybe try again in 6-8 months to get a hike on this one but this is a pretty good offer for the moment and depending on the hiring manager/HR maybe push on the variable component but definitely you should go for it especially with no other offer in hand.

Not joining the job after accepting offer is highly unethical. Please don't do that. Serve your notice period and join nee company straightway

I tried Negotiated once but got "No", so didn't push harder and my current is also low.

As long as the company is a chill company to work in, take it; if it isn't then take it and keep pursuing interviews
