Is 30 months a mandatory period for PA to A promotion? Is it an auto-promotion after 30 months, or do we need to wait again? If I ask my manager for a promotion before 30 months (I have already completed 2 years), do they have the option to promote me?

It’s all depends on edl and manager if they want to provide as per the process 36 months .RTO and utilisation also matters

You can consider 50 months now for promotion, they will not provide promotion easily

Yes 30 months is mandatory for promotion and there is no auto promotion after 30 months. There are low chances someone will get promotion right after they complete 30 months
