Considering this an honest question, and assuming no parental inheritance ( no house), it would go like this
Income- 1cr -65 lac in hand ( after taxes) - 5.5 lac per month
By standard 30% saving rule - 2lac in savings - 3.5lac remaining in hand
Expenses -
Considering 3bhk in good society -
rent = 65k per month
Car emi - 45k ( good suv like jeep compass)
Maid/subscriptions/weekend outings - 50k per month
So thats total = 1.6 lacs gone
Random expenses - 40k ( travel, gadgets)
Total monthly expenses= 2 lac per month
Remaining= 3.5- 2 = 1.5 per month
So yes it will be extremely comfortable, you can live in good society, get a good car and still have around 2+ 1.5 = 3.5 savings
Hence save for an year, get a house by some 30lac deposit and deploy 1.5 in emis and enjoy
